Logan's Story

Born and raised in Frederick County, Logan graduated in 2022 from Walkersville High School. He's always been active with a love for ice hockey, riding and racing motorcycles, ATVs, and dirt bikes. His passion for fishing and hunting delivers true happiness. He hunts with his Chocolate Lab Drake in tow. 

He's been a Nuthin Fancy fan for years. The brand represents who he is. And that's even before he knew that we were from his hometown!

In late February 2024, Logan noticed a lump in his armpit area. Over the next few weeks, it grew to be about the size of a softball. On April 17th, he got the diagnosis that anyone would dread…. Hodkins Lymphoma. April 19th, he met with his Oncologist to get a plan together. He underwent an arsenal of tests and procedures for the next week. Monday, April 22nd the results were in.  He learned that the cancer was a very aggressive stage 4 - and it had spread.  From the armpit area to lymph nodes in his neck, one pushing on his esophagus and trachea, behind his heart, in his spleen, in his bone, both iliac bones in his hips, and a large mass at the top of his left leg. The doctor was amazed that he was even able to walk into the office that day. 

And on that day, Logan's battle began.  Logan has the best attitude and says “Well, I guess I’ve got to kick Cancers butt now”...insert shoulder shrug. As of now the doctor believes that he has a 75% chance of curing his completely. So, fingers crossed. 

We are thankful to bring together the Nuthin Fancy village for this one special day to help raise funds to support Logan's journey. Proceeds will help with the mouting medical bills, travel, and expenses related to his care.
